CRG BossVent catch can kit for Isuzu NPR and NPS 5.2 Litre 4HK1 engine

The kit includes:
-BossVent Super Max dual canister with 600 litre per minute / 750kw rated steel filter catch can system,
-BossVent Smart Alert sensor and dash light system, gauge hose and drain tap,
-CRG custom laser cut and welded aluminium heavy duty 3d mounting bracket,
-CRG custom CNC billet aluminium fittings for direct factory fitment,
-Over sized 400 series push lock hose, push lock fittings, joiners and hose clamps
-All Mounting bolts and hardware,

We have made the kit to suit both single cab and crew cab trucks, will come with 2.25m of 400 series hose to be cut to length to suit short direct single cab system or crew cab with the secondary AC system.

Suggested install time 60 minutes for single cab and 3-4 hours for crew cab. Installing on a crew cab is quite time consuming running the hoses  etc from one side to the other. Would be really suited to installing with the cab lifted for easier install.
When we install here at CRG we do not offer to install the wiring to the cab for the in-cabin alert light.

Why a catch can?
The reality is, these trucks can some times get well over 10000kg GCM if they are pulling a trailer of 4000kg.
When they are loaded up heavy the engine is working really hard.  The harder it’s working the higher the likely hood of increased crank case pressure and increased PC valve breathing.
There’s nothing wrong with that, doesn’t mean the engine is hurt but it does mean the crank case is breathing a lot of dirty oily hot air back into your intake and causing the engine to run on dirty air increasing the build up of carbon deposit and increased chance of long term engine damage.  Isuzu do run a factory can catch on their larger trucks and we believe these trucks should also have one when running heavy and working hard.

This next generation BossVent system Is like no other on the market, it is locally made and owned and we are proud to be working with BossVent for our kit, the dual canister unit can flow 600 litres of air per minute compared to around 200 litre for competitor products which ensures the catch can doesn’t create even further increased crank case pressure that is known to occur in a system that is sub par for the engines breathing requirements.  Not flowing enough air through the catch can system quite simply will do more damage than not having a catch can at all.
This catch can system replaces the factory breather line from PC valve to intake pipe, incorporating the 750kw catch can into the replacement assembly to catch the oil from the breathing system.

The BossVent Super max system has a built in clear tube fill level gauge and drain tap and feature’s the smart in-cabin oil level and blocked filter alerts with In-cabin Alert Switch backed up by the integrated crankcase pressure regulation and emergency over pressure bypass as standard.  So the dash light will alert you if you can is needing draining and or the filter replaced causing reduced flow. The filters are an industry standard high efficiency metal filter element to ensure no paper or material is at risk of perishing and failure.
